Lan Wangji was interested to see Wei Wuxian restrain himself from poking the ribbon. It was clear that he had considered it, but he stopped himself, showing more restraint than he had had at that age in his previous life. A small part of Lan Wangji was tempted to move the ribbon into the path of Wei Wuxian's hand when Wei Wuxian poked his arm instead, but he resisted that part. Instead, he reached out with the other arm and wrapped his hand around Wei Wuxian's and removing it from his arm, taking significantly longer than he meant to before dropping Wei Wuxian's hand.
He looked away, blushing a little bit. He tried to focus on what they had been actually talking about, and he replied somewhat vaguely, "You had a lot of influence on both of them when they were at a formative period of their lives."
He wondered if Wei Wuxian would guess at who it had been just from that context. He would find out eventually, but Lan Wangji was reluctant to tell too much if he did not need to.
